CAR-T Lab Support Technician

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented CAR-T Lab Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards in lab operations, adhering to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Job Aids. This role involves hands-on responsibilities in lab cleaning, sample management, and compliance with lab standards.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all current customer SOPs, WIs, and Job Aids for testing and compliance.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of lab areas including centrifuges, BSC hoods, refrigerators/freezers, incubators, and lab counters.
• Dispose of expired reagents physically and in eLIMS.
• Assist with annual fridge/freezer cleanings by moving out reagents.
• Manage samples, including daily sample running and operating cryopods with LN2 in the warehouse.
• Assist analysts by retrieving samples from the warehouse for the Flow, Potency module, and Critical reagents team.
• Communicate with analysts to monitor cryopod expired time.
• Enter sample information in logbooks and eLIMS as required.
• Request and return logbooks from Doc Control as needed.
• Replace non-hazardous and hazardous waste gallons with labeled new ones from the warehouse.
• Dispose of goggles in yellow bins.

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of biology and lab procedures.
• Proficiency in data entry and reagent handling.
• Experience with GMP or GDP is preferred.
• Familiarity with LIMS or Excel for data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences.
• Lab Tech experience is preferred.

Work Environment:

The position is based in the CAR-T Cell Manufacturing Lab located in Raritan, NJ. The role requires onsite presence in a lab environment, adhering to standard lab protocols and safety procedures. The worksite is equipped to support CAR-T cell manufacturing operations.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Bridgewater, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
