Building Automation Software Applications Engineer

5+ years experience in programming DDC systems (Direct Digital Controls)

Understanding of networking, temperature controls and integrated systems

Knowledge of CAD systems in particular AutoCAD and Visio

Sound knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drawing software and knowledge of Building Automation and HVAC Controls

Good understanding of construction methods

Ability to work in a team environment while taking responsibility for individual tasks

Mostly just need someone with DDC development skills: They have a lot of people retiring from these roles and are taking 20+ years each of experience

- They want to have new people in the loop to get trained by the remaining 20+ year guy

- This team is supporting a few hospital systems

      - MGH , Boston Children's?

      - MGH, is where the 30 year guy

      - They will train him up a bit but want lots of experience

- Team Set Up

      - Each team's projects are handled by dedicated team

            - PM, controls, dedicated SW Eng

            - Project Teams - PM, PE, 3 Controls Engs, graphics, 2 sw specialists

- Flex

      - Mostly work from home

      - First 90 days more onsite

      - They will have lots of notification, for onsite needs

      - 3 days at most onsite

- Selling Points

      - 100k-130k, best case could flex up to 150k

      - Have benefits, BC/BS hc, AD+D, 401 match

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
