Automation Engineer

Robotics Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple robot programming projects simultaneously.
• Design, build, and program custom robotics projects throughout the year.
• Build custom robotic cells, including wiring, fabricating, and assembly.
• Program PLCs, safety systems, robots (Fanuc, ABB), and press brake machinery.
• Oversee installation and provide onsite customer training and follow-up service.
• Travel regionally and nationally up to 40% for installation and commissioning of robotic cells.

Essential Skills:

• 3-5+ years of experience in programming single and multi-axis robots (ABB, Fanuc).
• Strong electrical engineering skills, including AutoCAD, robot programming, PLC programming, and schematic design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Willingness to transition to programming robots if primarily experienced in PLC programming.

This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Onsite M-F. PTO 13 Days 1 Birthday Sick Pay United PPO/HMO plan Dental, Vision Plan. 401k Match up to 2K.
