Application Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on engineer to join our growing team. This role is 100% floor-based, focused on troubleshooting equipment, solving complex mechanical and electrical issues, and integrating systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will be working directly with equipment and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on the manufacturing floor.
• Integrate systems to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Work hands-on with hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Engage in continuous improvement and industrial maintenance activities.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical engineering
• Electromechanics
• Electrical engineering
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting (3+ years)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with VFD, motors, gear boxes, and servo motors/drives
• Familiarity with heavy equipment and industrial machinery
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering
• Preferred AA degree (not required)
• 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience
• Electrical engineering experience (3+ years)

Work Environment

This position requires you to work on the manufacturing floor 100% of the time. The job is based on the night shift, from 8 PM to 6 AM. The work environment is industrial, requiring boots and pants, and the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats and glasses. The work can be physically demanding, particularly in summer heat.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $89000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
