Acoustic Marketing Platform Quality Assurance
This position is responsible for ensuring the Acoustic Marketing platform and client solutions are of the highest quality in terms of functionality, usability, security, and reliability.
This position is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional Software Engineering teams to deliver automated quality solutions. The primary goal of this position is to ensure test automation frameworks across teams are stable, maintainable, and efficient to allow for minimum manual test execution. The candidate should possess strong communication and collaboration skills in agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation built on modern development methodologies (TDD, BDD, Kanban/Agile). The Acoustic Engineering team is a highly innovative Agile / DevOps team working on an exclusively Cloud / SAAS Platform.
What You'll Do:
- Operate the testing team under QA rules and emphasize open communication with other teammates.
- Develop and execute automated test cases at different levels of the testing pyramid using Java or Typescript.
- Expand and maintain current automation frameworks and seek ways to enhance reliability, speed, and efficiency.
- Monitor automated test results and address failures with the framework or code.
- Work with engineers to clearly define test specifications and scenarios.
- Actively contribute to new solutions for AWS testing (such as Lambdas, S3 Buckets, etc.).
- Update the team and management on progress.
- Advocate and promote quality assurance practices within a cross-functional team.
- Be open to and unafraid of manual testing when required.
