Field Sales Expert

Acosta-Mosaic is looking for candidates with experience in grocery retail and a strong interest in interpersonal relations and sales. Your strong relationships in retail and your passion for excellence will help us ensure that the represented products are always available and well presented where families shop. As a Field Sales Expert, you will be the face of our client, Mead Johnson Nutrition. You will bring your energy and commitment to retail sales every day, working closely with store managers to ensure that our infant formula brands are well stocked, prominently displayed, and visible to consumers. This role covers the Laval Territory, a key market for our business. The position is part-time, approximately 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday during regular daytime retail business hours.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities may include, but not limited to, are listed below.

• Complete call reports and on-going training requirements in a timely manner
• Work with store managers to fix out of stock issues
• Review store level data to help build sales case for store manager
• Merchandise and stock shelves
• Negotiate incremental product orders, displays and product placement with store manager
• Understand KPI Targets and work to achieve those targets in every call
• Communicate regularly with Acosta Field Manager

This role requires an organized and energetic individual who can learn quickly and demonstrate the following skills and requirements:

• Ability to work Monday to Friday (During retail daytime hours)
• Access to a vehicle (driving to multiple stores each day)
• Proven ability to develop positive & productive working relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Work with many stakeholders and take direction well
• Ownership & accountability of your retail territory

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience as Field Sales Representative for Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company
• French and English speaking (fully bilingual)
• Experience working with mobile devices for reporting purposes (using a tablet)
• Ability to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to create productive long-lasting relationships with department/store managers
