Technology Support Engineer

Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Must have skills: API Security. Good to have skills: GraphQL (Query Language) Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

Summary: We are looking for a motivated Junior API Developer to join our engineering team. You will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of APIs that enable secure and efficient data exchange between applications and services. This role is ideal for candidates with a foundation in programming and web technologies, eager to learn best practices in API design, security, and cloud integration.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs under senior developer guidance.
• Write and maintain clean, simple, and reusable backend code.
• Support integration with internal applications and third-party services.
• Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting API-related issues.
• Contribute to API documentation (Swagger, Postman collections).
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Learn and apply API security practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Stay updated with new API technologies and industry best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET.
• Understanding of HTTP, REST principles, and JSON/XML.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Git / version control systems.
• Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, cURL).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Eagerness to learn cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to API frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Express.js, Spring Boot).
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker).
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Interest in API gateways (Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).

Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in API Security. This position is based at our Gurugram office. A 15 years full time education is required.
