Project Role: Software Development Engineer

Project Role Description: Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Must Have Skills: Embedded Product Verification & Validation

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Electrical Instrumentation

Summary: As a Senior Test Engineer, you will collaborate with development teams to identify test cases and requirements suitable for automation. You will implement and execute automated and manual tests, analyze and report test results. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues arising with automated and manual tests and test infrastructure. You will participate in issue reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality software. You will work with other members of the testing team to maintain and improve the existing automated testing infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Developing new test cases, executing existing tests, and reporting the test results.
• Collaborating with teams of other locations to identify test cases and requirements suitable for automation.
• Analyzing and interpreting the test results, actively participating in defect analysis, and supporting in pre and post verification efforts.
• Being responsible for test bench and hardware maintenance and reporting if there are any issues.

Professional & Technical Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in the testing and validation domain, with at least 3 years of experience in the automotive domain.
• Very good knowledge in CANoe, Python, CAPL.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, DOORs.
• Good knowledge of ECU and HiL hardware, Ethernet, CAN protocols.
• System and Sub system Knowledge of Automotive ECUs.
• Requirement Understanding, Configuration Management, Bug Tracking Tool, Change management Tool.
• Working experience in assembling a test bench (HIL).
• Working experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues associated with automated and manual tests and test infrastructure.
• Strong ability to think analytically, established professional network, independent and structured way of working.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
• Proactive communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded Product Verification & Validation. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Electrical Instrumentation is required.
