AVEVA E3D Catalog & Integration Engineer

The AVEVA E3D Catalog & Integration Engineer with strong expertise in catalog administration, Engineering Resource Management (ERM), and enterprise system integration. He will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining E3D catalogs and specifications, customizing piping, structural, and equipment components, and ensuring seamless integration of E3D with ERM and other engineering platforms. The role involves supporting project teams throughout the full lifecycle of digital design, including data migration, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting, while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices. With over 8 years of specialized experience, he will drive efficient catalog management, enable smooth interdisciplinary workflows, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects in industries such as oil & gas, power, and chemicals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain E3D catalogs and specifications in alignment with project and engineering standards.
• Manage the integration between ERM (Engineering Resource Management) and E3D, ensuring seamless data exchange and consistency.
• Perform customization and enhancement of E3D Catalog objects, piping specs, components, and hierarchies.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and IT teams to enable E3D-ERM integration workflows.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and maintain proper version control of catalogs and specifications.
• Troubleshoot catalog and integration issues across AVEVA applications and coordinate with AVEVA support as needed.
• Support training, documentation, and user guidance on catalog usage and best practices.
• Assist in data migration, upgrades, and system testing related to E3D and ERM.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of experience working with AVEVA E3D, Catalog Administration, and ERM integration.
• Proficiency in configuring Piping, Structural, Equipment catalogs in AVEVA E3D.
• Hands-on experience in E3D-ERM integration, including mapping of attributes, object management, and validation processes.
• Understanding of E3D data structures, spec-driven design principles, and catalog modeling practices.
• Experience working with AVEVA Administration tools and knowledge of AVEVA database environments.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

• Exposure to AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA NET, or other AVEVA Digital Twin tools.
• Familiarity with plant design workflows in sectors like Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemicals.
• Knowledge of SPECS, PML coding, and AVEVA automation scripts is a plus.
