Good to have skills: AWS Administration, Microsoft Azure Architecture, Google Cloud Platform Administration

Summary: As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to assist in the design of software configuration and customization, ensuring that the solutions align with business process designs and application requirements. You will engage in problem-solving activities and contribute to the overall success of the project by providing valuable insights and support to your team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture, AWS Administration, Google Cloud Platform Administration.
• Strong understanding of system configuration and management.
• Experience with automation tools for configuration management.
• Familiarity with scripting languages to enhance system operations.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
