What You Will Do:
Lead with Expertise and Vision: Use your deep expertise and years of professional experience to lay the foundation for data-driven companies with future data platforms.
Guide Teams and Foster Synergies: As an experienced leader, you will guide interdisciplinary teams, identify data sources, develop complex data models, and implement productive data pipelines both in the cloud and on-premise.
Advise at the Highest Level: In close collaboration with decision-makers on the customer side, you will ensure that end-to-end data pipelines are successfully implemented and serve as an essential basis for the industrialization of artificial intelligence. Use your extensive professional experience to significantly contribute to the transformation of our customers and develop innovative solutions.
We Are Looking For:
Completed master's degree or a PhD in IT, preferably with a focus on data engineering, computer science, IT or software engineering.
At least two years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Advanced knowledge in these areas: Software Engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, Java), Version Control System (e.g., Git), Data Manipulation (e.g., SQL, R, Spark), On-premise & Cloud Data Warehouse/Data Integration (e.g., Talend, Microsoft Data Factory/SSIS, Azure Synapse, Telegraf), On-premise & Cloud SQL Databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres).
The following knowledge in one or more of these areas is desirable: Continuous Integration & Delivery (e.g., Unit Testing, Jenkins, Release Management), Cloud Architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP – certifications preferred), On-premise & Cloud Big Data /In-Memory Databases (e.g., Snowflake, Cloudera), On-premise & Cloud NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, InfluxDB), Web APIs (e.g., Rest, Soap).
Project-related mobility, strong communication skills in German and English, and a high level of customer orientation.

The annual gross salary for this position starts at €61,000, depending on qualification and experience.
