Sales Lead Opportunity in the French Insurance Sector
Are you an experienced sales lead from a top consulting firm or technology services company with expertise in the French insurance sector?
Would you like to join a dynamic and strategic team at the forefront of major transformations in the insurance sector (Retirement Savings, Non-Life Insurance, Health & Life Insurance), working closely with Accenture leaders and the main French and European insurers?
As a sales lead, you will be at the intersection of Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Data & AI, and Operations teams. Your mission will be to identify, structure, and realize major transformation opportunities, supporting our clients in their technological and operational reinvention.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle of major transformations, including:
- Modernization of core insurance systems, including mainframe modernization
- Transformation of data platforms and deployment of modern data platforms
- Deployment of Agentic AI solutions to automate business processes and transform operational models
- Transformation of operational models and business platforms in Retirement Savings, Non-Life Insurance, and Health Insurance
Your main missions:
Commercial development and client relations
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with the business and IT leaders of the main French insurers
- Develop a deep understanding of client issues across the Retirement Savings, Non-Life Insurance, and Health Insurance business lines
- Identify and qualify strategic transformation opportunities
Origination and structuring of opportunities
- Co-build with account and offering teams multi-disciplinary opportunities (Technology, Data & AI, Cloud, Operations)
- Structure differentiated value propositions around the major challenges of the sector:
- Modernization of legacy systems and exit from the mainframe
- Implementation of modern data platforms
- Deployment of Agentic AI and intelligent automation
- Transformation of operational models and customer journeys
Sales cycle management
- Define and execute winning sales strategies on complex strategic opportunities
- Structure commercial, financial, and contractual proposals
- Lead the development of proposals and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Conduct negotiations leading to contract signatures
Leadership and strategic contribution
- Contribute to the strategy of developing strategic client accounts
- Collaborate with Technology, Data, Cloud, and Operations leaders
- Contribute to positioning Accenture as a strategic transformation partner in the insurance sector

Your profile:
Experience and expertise
- Degree of at least bac+5 (engineering school, business school, or university)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a top consulting firm or ESN
- Proven experience in selling complex technology transformations in the French insurance sector
- Expertise in at least one of the following business lines: Retirement Savings, Non-Life Insurance, and Health & Life Insurance
Expertise on the strategic challenges of the sector
Good understanding of major transformations in the sector, including:
- Modernization of core insurance systems and exit from the mainframe
- Implementation of data platforms and modern data architectures
- Deployment of Data & AI and Agentic AI solutions
- Transformation of operational models and target operating models
- Transformation of customer journeys and digitalization of processes
Commercial skills and leadership
- Strong ability to structure complex proposals and innovative business models
- Solid analytical, financial, and strategic skills
- Ability to influence and establish trust-based relationships with executives
- Natural leadership and ability to work in complex environments
Languages
- Fluent French required
- Fluent English required
