Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Must have skills: Selenium, Java

Minimum 5 years of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while also developing and implementing effective testing strategies that align with business objectives. You will focus on applying quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle, ensuring that testing is thorough and effective in identifying defects and areas for improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Java.
• Must have experience on Cucumber, BDD.
• Must have experience on Cloud preferably Azure.
• Good to have Playwright experience.
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation for application features.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
• The candidate should be willing to work from our client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
