Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UI and backend test automation, exposure to Playwright, and a basic understanding of cloud technologies -GCP. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while also developing and implementing effective testing strategies that align with business objectives. You will focus on applying your knowledge of quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall testing lifecycle, ensuring that all aspects of quality are addressed throughout the application development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met across releases.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate training and mentorship for junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Strong understanding of various automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Hands-on exposure to Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Perform exploratory testing and identify areas for automation and Proficiency in any scripting languages such as.net, typescript, JavaScript, or Java.
• Design and implement automated test scripts for UI and backend services.
• Utilize Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
