Test Automation Engineer

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright TestNG and Automation Frameworks, hands on scripting and automation experience along with knowledge of working with real time devices. The role requires continuous enhancement of automation frameworks to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Automation frameworks using Playwright, TestNG and Selenium
• Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful services (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks
• Actively work on production incident analysis, root cause identification, and validation of fixes
• Enhance and optimize existing test automation frameworks for scalability and reusability
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams for quality improvements
• Maintain test reports, metrics, and automation execution dashboards

Must Have Skills:

• Strong scripting and programming skills
• Hands on experience with Rest Assured for API automation
• Experience with TestNG / Junit / BDD /Cucumber
• Solid understanding of End-to-End Application testing concepts (authentication, headers, payloads, JSON validation)
• Experience in performance testing (JMeter preferred)
• Hands on experience handling production issues/incidents
• Experience in enhancing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Good understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle)

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of BDD (Cucumber)
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
• Experience with monitoring/log analysis tools
• Understanding of microservices architecture

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and in cross functional teams

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
