Quality Engineer

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that span the entire application lifecycle. This role focuses on integrating various components and systems to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. The day includes continuous testing activities covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites, alongside developing and maintaining automated testing scripts. Additionally, the role requires active involvement in reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements in testing processes to enhance overall product reliability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to testing procedures and outcomes.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing frameworks and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Experience with designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes in software development.
• Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems to support quality assurance activities.
• Skilled in collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing within the software delivery pipeline.

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing. This position is based at our Pune office. A 15 years full time education is required.
