Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.

Must have skills: PeopleSoft PeopleTools

Minimum five years of experience is required.

Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Developer with strong experience in development, customization, and support of PeopleSoft applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing technical solutions, performing system enhancements, and ensuring smooth integration with business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement PeopleSoft applications and enhancements
• Customize PeopleSoft modules as per business requirements
• Develop and maintain Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, SQR, and Integration Broker services
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of PeopleSoft systems
• Work closely with functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
• Support system upgrades, patches, and production issues
• Develop technical documentation and follow coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality deliverables

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL
• Experience in database technologies like Oracle
• Understanding of full SDLC and Agile methodology

Good to Have:

• Experience in PeopleSoft Fluid UI
• Exposure to cloud migration or PeopleSoft upgrades
• Performance tuning and optimization skills
• Good knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM
• Hands-on experience in Integration Broker / Web Services

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum four years of experience in PeopleSoft People Tools.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and in team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.
