Summary: As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, you will configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing standard tools and APIs, and leveraging low-code platforms to deliver effective solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining system performance and compatibility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Work on SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, HR, or others as per project needs.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and optimization of existing ABAP programs.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Implement enhancements using User Exits, BADI, BAPI, and Enhancement Framework.
• Support SAP upgrades and patching activities.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in SAP systems.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA, SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development.
• Strong understanding of application configuration and support processes.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms and their integration with existing systems.
• Experience in managing software releases and ensuring system stability.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
