In the role of a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to address operational challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance application performance and user experience.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery of application updates.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Experience with cloud-based data storage, data integration, and data processing within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of configuring and managing SaaS applications using APIs and low-code platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Familiarity with release management processes and tools to support continuous delivery and deployment.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to cloud applications.
