As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability of the system. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks related to application performance and stability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of application features with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing performance testing frameworks for packaged and software as a service applications.
• Experience with tools and platforms that support low-code development and integration.
• Ability to analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with release management processes and ensuring minimal disruption during deployments.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
