Network Security Engineer

The Network Security team is responsible for the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of our global, complex network infrastructure. We support both production and project delivery, ensuring robust security and operational excellence across all environments. Our team collaborates closely with other squads and the Cyber Security division to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative network solutions.

The work includes:

  • Setting up, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure, including APIC, Cisco, and Arista routers and switches, as well as Software Defined Network technologies (Arista SDN, Cisco ACI).
  • Operating and maintaining the Algosec suite, contributing to firewall rules management and process improvement to meet security and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall-related incidents, alerts, and requests, acting as 3rd line support for firewall rules management.
  • Participating in infrastructure and business projects, delivering required network and security solutions and related documentation.
  • Performing vulnerability assessments, validation, and upgrades for network devices.
  • Optimizing our current network implementations and enhancing the automation services.
  • Maintaining processes such as configuration management and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet stakeholder requirements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting weekend releases and interventions as needed.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office, depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.     Here's what you'll need:

    • Hands-on experience with Algosec AFA/Fireflow and/or Arista SDN technology (mandatory requirement).
    • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in network engineering or network security management systems.
    • Degree in Computer Science or certifications in Network Technologies, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
    • Experience with firewall policy management on technologies such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, F5, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, Infoblox, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC, etc.) and TCP/IP protocols.
    • Practical experience in LAN/WAN systems, DNS (Infoblox), and network automation (Python).
    • Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment and function effectively in a fast-paced team.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
