Typical activities

• Help clients leverage AI/ML technologies to solve real-world business challenges.
• Design, develop, deploy, and run high-quality AI/ML solutions across industries with diverse organizational needs.
• Migrate AI applications from local to cloud: build scalable ML pipelines and APIs using cloud-native services, with CI/CD practices for reproducibility and speed.
• Build robust infrastructure for AI applications: work with streaming data, vector databases, and unstructured data pipelines to enable real-time AI services. Develop production-ready APIs (FastAPI, Flask) with authentication, versioning, and scalability.
• Enable observability and automation: implement logging, monitoring, A/B testing, and system health checks while ensuring fault tolerance and performance optimization.
• Contribute to solution design and technology strategy, mentoring colleagues and supporting multi-disciplinary teams through the full lifecycle—from inception to production and operations.
• Engage with the Data & AI community, sharing insights and advancing best practices in AI engineering.

Your background

• Experience with AI/ML platforms and services: SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML, OpenAI, LangChain, AutoML, OCR, STT, feature stores, vector DBs (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Strong Python skills (async/await, OOP, PEP8) and related ML/data libraries.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps practices (registries, metrics, drift detection, experimentation tracking, RAG, deployment models).
• Cloud expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, security, storage, monitoring, scaling, DR/HA.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless).
• Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js for API development and UI integration.
• Solid background in software engineering and DevSecOps.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong plus.
• Certified cloud ML engineer.

• Experience building PoCs for rapid learning and prototyping.
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML services in production for large-scale end-user adoption.
