Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator (L2/L3) to manage, maintain, and support enterprise storage infrastructure. The candidate will have hands-on experience with NetApp AFF/FAS, PowerMax 8K, ISILON, and ECS. The role involves storage provisioning, replication, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform NetApp AFF/FAS storage provisioning and manage volume/LUN assignments.
• Configure and manage SnapMirror/SnapVault replication for disaster recovery.
• Conduct NetApp upgrades including firmware, ONTAP, and cluster upgrades.
• Manage PowerMax 8K storage arrays, including SRDF/S replication configuration and monitoring.
• Support ISILON NAS storage – share creation, quota management, and monitoring.
• Handle ECS object storage management, including bucket setup, replication, and monitoring.
• Monitor storage health, capacity, and performance; troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for storage requirements and DR testing.
• Maintain proper documentation of storage configurations, replication setups, and operational procedures.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with NetApp AFF/FAS, including provisioning, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and upgrades.
• Experience with PowerMax 8K, including SRDF/A configuration and replication management.
• Working knowledge of ISILON NAS and ECS Object Storage.
• Understanding of CISCO SAN/NAS concepts, zoning, LUN masking, and host connectivity (WWPN).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of DR/BC processes and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) is a plus.

Additional Information: Relevant storage certifications (NetApp, Dell EMC, VMware, etc.) preferred. The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Cloud Backup Architecture and Design. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
