Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Summary: As an Engineering Services Practitioner, a typical day involves supporting comprehensive engineering services aimed at creating effective technical solutions that address complex challenges and meet organizational goals. This role requires applying a blend of scientific principles, digital status insights, and practical expertise to resolve engineering data related issues. The work spans various domains including structural, systems and cabin design data, configuration management, and technical oversight, ensuring that dashboards details status of solutions are robust and aligned with business needs. Collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders is integral to delivering successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Data Engineering & Python Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python (PySpark/Pandas) within the Palantir Foundry/Skywise environment. Write clean, modular, and efficient code to transform complex datasets into high-quality data models.
- Big Data Analytics: Perform large-scale data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities. Implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to drive predictive maintenance or operational efficiency.
- Dashboard & Visualization: Build interactive, user-centric dashboards using Palantir Slate, Contour, or Workshop. Translate complex data findings into visual stories that stakeholders can easily interpret for decision-making.
- System Integration: Navigate the Skywise platform to integrate disparate data sources (sensors, logs, operational data) while ensuring data integrity and security compliance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Skywise or Palantir Foundry (specifically Slate, Contour, and Code Workbook).
- Expert-level Python skills, with experience in PySpark for distributed computing.
- Strong understanding of Big Data concepts, SQL, and ontology management.
- Experience in UI/UX design for technical dashboards and data apps.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 1 years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably exposure to clients specific environment/ requirement.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
