Responsibilities

Building and setting up infrastructure for package delivery

Deploy containerized packages, updates and fix

Test and maintain production environment

Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Provide technical support

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Improve and automate development & release processes

Working with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Automate infrastructure provisioning and scheduling while respecting best practices

Skills & Experience

Team spirit and good communication skills

Problem-solving attitude and troubleshooting skills

Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, ARM, etc.

Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles

Good knowledge of containers, orchestration and management

Good knowledge of cloud environments and their deployment platforms

Proficiency in Blue/Green deployment strategies and Canary Deployment

Securing CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of code analysis and security tools

Implement DevOps best practices to ensure continuous delivery

GitOps architecture

Knowledge of at least one continuous configuration tool

Optimization of infrastructure costs and performance, as well as delivery times

Management of high availability and tolerance Outage and disaster recovery

Observability (tracing, distributed monitoring, alert management)

Knowledge of Linux or Windows Server administration

Networks and architecture: TCP/IP, firewalls, security groups, VPC, VPN, load balancers, CDN

Good soft skills

Critical thinking (ability to identify problem, improve and automate development and release processes)

Knowledge in various operating system administration, Databases and DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)

Academic Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent area of technical study
