DevOps Engineer

Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. The role includes setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of systems. Collaboration with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance automation is a key part of daily activities. The position requires proactive problem-solving to maintain efficient and secure development environments, supporting the overall software delivery lifecycle with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure solutions to support development and deployment activities.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective automation strategies.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of DevOps practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps Architecture, Python (Programming Language), AWS CloudFormation, AWS Architecture.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), AWS CloudFormation, AWS Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies and tools.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms and cloud infrastructure management.
• Ability to design secure and scalable systems with a focus on automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline development and operational tasks.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps Architecture. This position is based at our Gurugram office. A 15 years full time education is required.
