Data Engineer

We provide comprehensive support from strategy definition to solution implementation and development, covering all aspects of Data & Analytics.
The Work:
You will:
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing frameworks supporting analytics and AI use cases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects and technical leads to translate business requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
- Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation and orchestration processes using Snowflake and leading cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, ensuring high data quality, reliability and performance.
- Support development of modern data platforms, including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouse and Data Mesh architectures.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as a Code and automation of data workflows.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization of existing data solutions.
- Be involved in POC/POV initiatives and support innovation in data engineering practices and tools.
- Contribute to the growth of Snowflake technology practice in AI & Data and share knowledge within the team.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. Here's what you'll need:
- A desire to develop competencies in cloud technologies and modern data engineering tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with data modeling basics, performance optimization and data loading topics.
- Familiarity with Snowflake technology or willingness to learn.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Practical knowledge of SQL and experience in building data pipelines.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes).
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration and pipeline tools.
- At least basic knowledge of data quality, data governance and data security principles.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (B2 level).
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with tools such as DBT, Matillion, Airflow, or similar.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Code (e.g., Terraform) and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka).
- Understanding of modern architectures (e.g. Data Mesh, Lakehouse).
- Experience working in Agile delivery models.
- Team management experience.
- Certification in Snowflake and/or other above mentioned technologies.
