Data Engineer

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Must have skills: AppDynamics Administration

Minimum 5 years of experience is required. 15 years full time education is required.

As an AppDynamics Developer & Administrator, design, implement, and manage application performance monitoring solutions. You need to have strong expertise in AppDynamics configuration, dashboard development, alerting, and administration, with proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing enterprise applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade AppDynamics controllers, agents, and extensions.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of AppDynamics components.
• Integrate AppDynamics with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and third-party tools.
• Configure application monitoring for Java,.NET, Node.js, and other supported technologies.
• Set up health rules, policies, and alerts for proactive issue detection.
• Integrate alerts with collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, Email, Servicenow).
• Monitor performance metrics such as response times, error rates, and resource utilization.
• Design and develop custom dashboards for application, infrastructure, and business KPIs.
• Implement advanced visualizations for real-time monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define monitoring requirements and deliver insights.
• Perform root cause analysis using AppDynamics diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot agent connectivity, configuration, and performance issues.
• Optimize application performance based on monitoring insights.
• Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure end-to-end monitoring coverage.
• Document configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and training for team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Experience in AppDynamics administration and development.
• Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics agents (Java,.NET, Node.js, Database).
• Expertise in health rules, policies, and alerting configuration.
• Experience in dashboard creation and customization.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
