Custom Software Engineer

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting is required. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required. 15 years full time education is required.

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support business operations. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, ensuring that the applications you develop align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate in end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, covering configuration of:
• Consolidation Units, FS Items, Versions, Categories
• Currency Translation, Intercompany Eliminations, COI (Consolidation of Investments)
• Interact with client finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
• Work on data integration using GRDC, flat file uploads, and integration with ACDOCA.
• Support ICMR (Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation) setup and execution within Data Monitor tasks.
• Assist in Fiori-based reporting delivery.
• Assist in design documentation: Business Blueprint, Functional Specs (FSD), and Test Scripts.
• Support data validation, testing, training, and cutover activities during go-lives.
• Work collaboratively with onshore/offshore teams in agile or waterfall delivery models.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of Finance/overall experience including at least 2+ years of hands-on SAP Group Reporting implementation
• Strong understanding of legal consolidation, intercompany processes, elimination logic, and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with:
• SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting
• SAP Fiori apps, AFO, and GRDC
• ICMR matching and reconciliation use cases
• Experience in at least 1 end-to-end implementation of Group Reporting.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to collaborate in a dynamic and multicultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) – especially BPC for NetWeaver (Standard/Embedded) on Consolidation, or BPC for BW/4HANA on Consolidation
• SAP BCS (Business Consolidation System)
• Other EPM / Consolidation Tools (Non-SAP) Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), OneStream, Tagetik
