Software Engineer – System Connectivity

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Software Engineer – System Connectivity to support enterprise applications, infrastructure operations, and security initiatives. The role involves working across application lifecycle management, system hardening, automation, and support activities in a regulated, enterprise environment. Candidates should have strong fundamentals in Java, operating systems, security, and infrastructure tasks, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities / Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Java (Mandatory): Application development, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Access Control & Security: User access management, role-based access control, security compliance
• Security Hardening:
• System hardening rules implementation
• User removal and privilege cleanup
• Penetration test findings remediation
• Systems & Platforms
• Linux / Unix: Command-line operations, system administration, troubleshooting
• Windows: Server and desktop-level administration
• Oracle Database: Basic administration, querying, and application-level interaction
• ServiceNow: Incident, change, and service request handling
• DevOps & Automation: CI/CD exposure, scripting, automation mindset
• Application Lifecycle Management: Deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning
• Backup, Recovery & Rollback: Data protection, restore procedures, rollback planning
• Infrastructure Tasks: System monitoring, maintenance, and operational support

Extended Technical Skills (Optional – Training Provided):

• Siemens Capital deployment and maintenance (or similar enterprise tools)
• Visual Basic Scripting
• Application Support across L1 / L2 / L3 levels

Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies:

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Engineering graduate in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or related fields
• Exposure to enterprise environments, production systems, or application support is a plus
• Willingness to learn domain-specific tools and processes

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
