As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts across teams and serving as the main liaison for application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and ensuring that solutions align with project goals and client requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional software components is a key aspect of daily responsibilities, fostering a dynamic and solution-oriented work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Document technical specifications and application configurations for future reference.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
• Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their configuration.
• Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions within Workday environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues effectively.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration processes related to Workday Core HCM.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
• This position is based at our Mumbai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
