Minimum 3 years of experience in Workday US Absence Management is required. A 15 years full time education is required.

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday is often spent collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences. Continuous refinement and adaptation of the software to evolving business demands are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance. Document application configurations and customizations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance. Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

Strong understanding of Workday application configuration and customization processes. Experience in designing and implementing business process workflows within Workday. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Familiarity with integration concepts and data management within Workday environments.
