SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Engineer (Senior/Lead)

We are looking for a SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Engineer (Senior/Lead) to work on the support, administration, and governance of our SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and related collaboration services. The resource will work closely with Duracell's Information Manager, operate independently, and oversee junior team members. A willingness to learn and expand into other Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day tickets covering service requests, incidents, and troubleshooting across common SharePoint/M365 collaboration issues including provisioning, access, restores, storage, and sharing restrictions.
• Collaborate with Duracell's Information Manager to design and implement governance frameworks for SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive — covering provisioning standards, permissions, naming conventions, ownership, and lifecycle management.
• Administer tenant settings for SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive manage site collections, permissions, and sharing policies.
• Partner with Security and Compliance teams on policy updates related to guest access, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and least-privilege access controls.
• Monitor platform health and service updates ensure incidents and changes are managed promptly and that SOPs and admin documentation are kept current.
• Report on governance metrics including inactive sites, guest users, storage consumption, and Teams lifecycle status.
• Support migration efforts from file shares or between SharePoint Online sites.
• Serve as the primary point of contact alongside Duracell's Information Manager for SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive decisions and escalations.
• Oversee and review work performed by junior team members, providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and security teams and provide guidance to site owners and end users on best practices and secure collaboration.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration, reporting, and task automation.
• Develop SPFx solutions (web parts/extensions) and support broader M365 and Power Platform needs as required.

Required Skills:

• Strong SharePoint Online administration experience in an enterprise M365 environment.
• Microsoft Teams and OneDrive governance and administration knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticket management tools for logging, tracking, and resolving service requests and incidents.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
• PowerShell scripting for M365 administration and reporting.
• SharePoint/OneDrive migration experience and tooling (e.g., ShareGate).
• Experience with SPFx web parts/extensions development and deployment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Power Automate and Power Apps experience related to SharePoint.
• Microsoft Purview — retention policies, sensitivity labels, and basic DLP concepts.
• 15 years full time education
