As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and operate efficiently within the existing technology landscape. The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and adapting configurations to optimize performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
• Experience in data governance processes and master data management principles.
• Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to master data and application integration.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
