Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have skills: OpenText Documentum. Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project’s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while overseeing the implementation process from inception through deployment. The engineer actively manages project timelines and resources, ensuring smooth progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of application development tasks to meet project goals.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText Documentum.
• Strong knowledge of content management systems and enterprise document management solutions.
• Experience in application design, development, and configuration within complex software environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to document management platforms.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs to connect various enterprise systems.
• Skilled in managing software development lifecycle processes and ensuring quality deliverables.
