Spring Boot & Core Backend Strong hands on experience with Spring Boot Solid understanding of Core Java concepts Development of RESTful APIs using Spring MVC / Spring Web Experience with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate Understanding of application configuration, auto configuration, and profiles

Database Hands on experience with Relational Databases (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL) Strong SQL and data access skills

Engineering Practices Build tools: Maven / Gradle Version control using Git Unit testing using JUnit / Mockito Familiarity with basic CI/CD pipelines

Ways of Working Experience in Agile / Scrum environments Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams Strong debugging and problem solving skills

Good to Have (Common Across Many, Not All Demands) These skills improve deployability and are frequently requested but not mandatory everywhere.

Spring Ecosystem Microservices architecture using Spring Boot Spring Security (basic authentication & authorization) Spring Actuator for monitoring and health checks

Cloud & DevOps Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Containerization using Docker CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

Integration & Messaging Messaging platforms (Kafka / JMS – exposure) Integration with external systems and APIs

Frontend Awareness Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Ability to collaborate with frontend teams effectively

Depending on Client Needs (Program / Industry Driven) These skills are selectively required based on client context, scale, and engagement model and should be added as overlays.

Architecture & Scale High availability and scalable system design Performance tuning and optimization Event driven or reactive programming (WebFlux)
