Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. You will also participate in discussions to align on project goals and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop applications for the SAP system using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) and ABAP-OO (ABAP Object Oriented) programming language in S/4HANA and on other SAP in-memory & cloud-based platform.
• Extend or develop data models in S/4HANA, CDS (Core Data Services) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Hands on for SAP NetWeaver Gateway OData.
• Modernize RICEFW by designing and building applications towards Clean Core.
• Develop applications on CAP/RAP based programming models.
• Extend, create and automate apps with ABAP RAP or other low-code tools together.
• Conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practice, coding standards and quality assurance.
• Hands on experience with Flexible Workflows.
• Work in an agile team and apply agile development practices for iterative development and cross-functional team collaboration.

Good to Have skillset – Design and deliver SAP Cloud Platform Applications through cloud native programming models, either in front end development with JavaScript based scripting, or service development with NodeJS or Native HANA modeling.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have hands on experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru or Hyderabad office.
