Summary: You will design, configure, and enhance SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes while leveraging AI assisted development tools and copilots to speed up requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. This role focuses on delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre built AI services where beneficial, and improving productivity through AI enabled assistance rather than deep AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP SD Functional & Technical Delivery
- Configure and optimize SAP SD components including: Order Management, Pricing, Conditions & Discounts, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, Returns & Refunds
- Use AI copilots to draft functional specs, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and accelerate documentation creation.
- Support end to end implementation cycles including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post go live support.
- Integrate SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems via standard APIs and middleware.
- AI Assisted Productivity
- Apply AI enabled tools to accelerate: Process analysis and interpretation, Pricing issue diagnostics, Impact analysis for change requests, Test planning and execution, Documentation automation (FS, TS, KT docs)
- Incorporate pre built AI features into SD workflows—for example: Automated exception detection in billing or pricing, Intelligent order classification or prioritization, Smart summarization of order/delivery issues
- Use LLM assisted troubleshooting during incidents, reducing resolution time.
- Governance, Quality & Collaboration
- Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and optimization discussions using AI supported insights.
- Partner with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to deliver end to end O2C alignment.
- Contribute reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI assisted accelerators.
