Custom Software Engineer

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Must have skills:

• JavaServer Pages (JSP)

Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.

Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education. Strong proficiency in:

• Java 8
• Hands-on experience with JSP
• Good understanding of UML and object-oriented design principles
• Experience working with XML
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
• Familiarity with version control tools (GIT)
• Understanding of web application architecture
• Familiarity with MVC concepts
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Exposure to databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)

Analytical Skills:

• Identify components impacted and changes required
• Example UI-only changes, API contract changes, cross-application updates
• Navigation flow (e.g., component, service, API, 1 Store, UI)
• Error/Failure handling (positive, negative, boundary scenarios)

Desired Leadership skills:

• UML, Seq dia, component
• Planning, coordination & escalation
• Open mind to learn new technologies and coach team

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into functional software, while also ensuring that the solutions are efficient and effective in addressing the challenges faced by the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must to have skills: Proficiency in JavaServer Pages (JSP).
• Strong understanding of web application development and design principles.
• Experience with modern frameworks and agile methodologies.
• Proficient in debugging and optimizing code for performance.
• Familiarity with database management and integration techniques.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in JavaServer Pages (JSP).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
