A typical day involves designing, constructing, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of each project and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications align with organizational goals, while continuously refining and optimizing the software to enhance performance and usability. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development to deliver reliable and efficient systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
• Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and resolve issues.
• Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Ab Initio.
• Strong knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques.
• Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Ab Initio is required. This position is based at our Pune office. A 15 years full time education is required.
