As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies and modern development frameworks to build scalable and efficient software. Your work focuses on addressing unique business requirements through innovative and high-quality software enhancements, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with organizational goals and user needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects to maintain system reliability.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Continuously explore and suggest improvements to existing software components to enhance performance and usability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Transportation Management.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable software solutions.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning techniques.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in BlueYonder Transportation Management.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
