You will design, configure, and enhance SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes while leveraging AI assisted development tools and copilots to speed up requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. This role focuses on delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre built AI services where beneficial, and improving productivity through AI enabled assistance rather than deep AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems.
SAP SD Expertise: Strong understanding of O2C processes including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations and cross module dependencies. Knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps.
AI Ready Skills: Hands on experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI assisted testing/analysis tools. Ability to integrate pre built AI capabilities (not developing custom LLMs or agentic systems) into SD process flows. Understanding of responsible AI usage and limitations, especially in commercial workflows.
General Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities in O2C scenarios. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross functional stakeholders. Continuous learning mindset and comfort using AI augmented productivity tools.
Good to Have: SAP SD Certification (S/4HANA Sales). Experience with SAP Fiori apps (Sales Order, Billing, Pricing). Exposure to EDI/IDoc integrations, middleware (CPI/Boomi), or CRM systems. Familiarity with automation testing tools.
Outcome Expectations: Deliver faster, more accurate, and more transparent SD solutions using AI Assisted productivity accelerators. Improve O2C efficiency, pricing accuracy, and billing reliability. Act as an effective bridge between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and AI native teams when deeper AI involvement is required.
