Finance And Risk Management Consultant

Support leading financial institutions in establishing their finance and risk functions for the future. With your expertise in accounting, controlling, reporting, or risk management, you will guide clients through an increasingly complex regulatory framework and create transparency in financial and risk data.

Together with our experts, you will develop efficient, digital processes and use modern technologies to identify risks early and provide control impulses.

What You Will Do

Consulting & Transformation

You will guide our financial services clients through their digital transformation, work closely with interdisciplinary teams, and develop future-oriented solutions for finance and risk organizations.

Regulatory & Efficiency

You will support the efficient implementation of regulatory requirements, optimize costs, and fully exploit growth and innovation potentials in finance and risk functions.

Business & Innovation

Together with our clients, you will develop new business models and processes, for example, in the areas of cyber security, sustainability, or risk and data management.

Controlling Models & Technical Architectures

You will contribute to the conception of modern controlling and operating models as well as necessary further developments in accounting, regulatory reporting, controlling, data, and risk management.

Data & Technology

You will work on data-driven analysis models, identify suitable software and technology solutions, and support their successful implementation.

What We Are Looking For

Qualification & Experience

Completed degree in economics, finance, banking, controlling, risk management, or financial mathematics

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the financial services sector, ideally in consulting

Technical Focus Areas (One Or More)

Accounting - IFRS and/or local GAAP - SAP S/4HANA Finance, FPSL or Group Reporting

Controlling - Management Reporting, Profit-Center-Accounting or Funds Transfer Pricing - Experience with SAP finance and planning tools

Regulatory / Reporting - Supervisory reporting (e.g., Austrian reporting) - Tools such as ABACUS/DaVinci, ABACUS/A360 or OneSumX Reg

Risk Management / Bank Control - Credit or market risk, limit or overall bank control - Experience with OneSumX or comparable standard software

Compliance - Supervisory compliance (e.g., WpHG, MiFID II, AML/CFT, MaRisk, BWG) - Experience with compliance management systems

Non-Financial Risk - NFR management according to MaRisk / BAIT / BWG - Operational risk, IKS/RCSA, issue- & measure management - ICT-, outsourcing- and DORA requirements

Personal Profile

First experience in project management and/or in technical team leadership

Very good presentation and MS Office skills

Structured, solution-oriented working method

Very good German and English skills as well as project-related travel readiness

The annual gross salary for this position starts - depending on qualification and experience - at €61,000. An overpayment is possible with appropriate experience.
