Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

Role Summary:

The role will lead infrastructure and application assessment, CI/CD based infra and application planning, and large scale infrastructure and application migrations. The consultant will be responsible for Terraform based infrastructure automation, infrastructure deployment using vRealize, and end to end deployment execution, while leading large DevOps and Infrastructure deployment teams across complex migration programs. Strong infrastructure background and migration experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Application Assessment:

Lead infrastructure assessments covering compute, storage, network, OS, and platform readiness. Perform application and infra dependency analysis to support migration and deployment planning. Assess CI/CD maturity for infrastructure and applications and define automation opportunities. Support target state architecture and migration readiness decisions.

CI/CD Based Infrastructure & Application Planning:

Define CI/CD driven deployment approach for infrastructure and applications. Plan infra and application deployment waves aligned with migration strategy. Ensure standardization of deployment patterns, rollback strategies, and automation models.

Infrastructure Automation & Provisioning:

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using vRealize (vRA / vRO). Integrate Terraform and vRealize workflows into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure compliance, repeatability, and scalability of infrastructure deployments.

Application Migration & Deployment:

Lead end to end infrastructure and application migrations (on prem to cloud / hybrid). Oversee application and infra deployments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments. Manage cutovers, rollback planning, and hypercare support. Ensure stability, availability, and performance post migration.

DevOps & Infrastructure Team Leadership:

Lead large multi disciplinary teams, including:

• DevOps engineers
• Infrastructure engineers
• Platform and automation teams

Coordinate across Application, DevOps, Infra, Network, Security, and Platform teams. Drive delivery discipline, issue resolution, and deployment governance.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Infrastructure assessment and migration
• CI/CD based infrastructure and application deployments
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• vRealize Automation / Orchestrator (vRA / vRO)
• Application and infrastructure deployment automation
• DevOps and Infrastructure team leadership
• Strong troubleshooting during infra and application migrations

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
