Responsible for supervising/managing and handling day-to-day Back Office processing of Operations of the Bank. Manage Operational Risk and Audits to ensure Operations are closely aligned. Report/escalate errors and incidents, ensure they are captured in the relevant operational risk tool and provide controls to avoid in the future. Ensure pre-matching is performed and prompt follow up of unmatched trades. Ensure Inventory is managed to facilitate onward deliveries through depot transfers. Identification of Firm shorts and highlighting to business. Monitor and release the necessary payments for deals transacted and due for settlement by respective cut-off times. Prompt follow up on any incident claims till resolution.

Close relationship with European team and locational teams, supervising the team on following duties: 1. Ensure all trades have been validated & instructed within the cut-off 2. Follow & report any unmatched instructions or failed trades and liaise with the relevant parties. 3. Monitor forecast cash balance and escalate to funding on any deficit cash 4. Ensure Inventory is managed to facilitate onward deliveries through depot transfers 5. Escalate to business on any firm shorts 6. Manage Buy-in tickets (Issuance and receivables) 7. Follow up and revert to reconciliation on all cash & stocks discrepancies raised by reconciliation teams 8. Respond promptly to FO, MO, external counterparties requests 9. Continuous Improve BO processes 10. Assist and test the release of new information systems 11. Ensure daily monitoring of collateral exposure to ensure deliveries are not stuck with agent on short of collateral 12. Ensure daily risk is fully covered and validate if all unmatched are escalated as per procedures to relevant stakeholders 13.
