BI Engineer Specialized In Snowflake

We are looking for a BI Engineer specialized in Snowflake to turn complex data into actionable insights. You'll design and maintain scalable data pipelines, develop robust data models, and integrate diverse data sources in a modern cloud environment.

This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and BI tools like Power BI, Qlik, while continuously expanding your expertise in cloud data warehousing, analytics, and data governance. Your work will directly impact business decisions, enabling smarter strategies, operational efficiency, and measurable growth.

Typical activities include:

  • Solution Design: Develop and implement scalable Snowflake solutions tailored to business needs, including data architecture, modeling, and integration.
  • Data Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute data strategies leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, ensuring efficient query execution and resource utilization.
  • Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other data platforms, tools, and applications.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, governance, and compliance within Snowflake environments.
  • Training & Support: Provide technical guidance, training, and support to teams using Snowflake.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on Snowflake features and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities.

Your background includes:

  • Extensive experience with Snowflake architecture, features, and functionalities.
  • Proven track record of delivering Snowflake solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Datastage, Informatica).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • 3+ of hands-on experience with dbt.
  • 5+ of hands-on experience working with Snowflake, Snowflake certification will be a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, Qlik will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
