What would you do? We help clients address quality and productivity issues, keep pace with customer expectations, navigate regulatory and operational pressures and ensure business sustainability by transforming their banking operations into an agile, resilient operating model. The Corporate banking/Wholesale banking team is responsible for helping clients and organizations processes trade finance transactions by providing superior service delivery to trade customers whilst safeguarding the bank from risks associated with this business. Develop and deliver core banking solutions for the applications that process the essential functions of banks, including account management, interest calculations, cash deposits and withdrawals processing, customer management and product management.
What are we looking for? Understanding about covenants, borrowing base calculations for business banking loans. Testing covenants regularly and monitoring Borrowing Base regularly for any North American banks. Should be able to review the US financial statements of the borrowers/guarantors. Analyzing risk, ensuring sound financial decisions, and safeguarding profitability. Commercial Underwriters performs risk assessments on potential loan recipients/borrowers based on credit rating/risk rating, borrowing history, industry information/reports, financial performance, guarantors performance, collateral support, risk and mitigations associated with the borrower and other risk factors. Required to understand Complex Documentation such as loan agreement, audit report and legal language. To ensure that all loan/policy applications and files are complete and accurate. Understand and Analyze the company/borrower performance based on financials, cashflow, and other secondary information. Ability to summarize borrower, financials, cashflow. Industry performance details in a clear and crisp way. Working with limited supervision, Performing tasks with some degree of independent decision making, Ability to take judgment calls. Contributes to cycle time improvement and efficiency of the team. Communicating in correct English with clients, both orally and written. Analytically sound to take decisions on effectiveness of Controls. Advanced Proficiency required in English Language to create documentation. Perform assignments/deals/tasks of high complexity and resolving queries. Ability to interact with Clients on weekly calls and explain Issue Management process.
Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
