Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills: Wireless Technologies Operations. Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required. Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education.

As part of the Wireless Network Operations team, the candidate will serve as a key interface between the client and the network systems. The role requires a strong commitment to quality and effective communication to ensure continuous, reliable system performance. Leveraging deep technical expertise, the candidate will accurately identify client issues, develop and implement effective resolutions, and maintain operational stability. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients, analyzing and resolving network incidents, and ensuring seamless wireless network operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Flexible to work in 24x7 rotational shifts, including weekend
• Excellent communication skills
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide effective support.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Mandatory Basic Networking skills: Routing & Switching (CCNA, JNCIA equivalent)
• Must to Have Skills (Minimum 1 or more): Cisco Wireless, Aruba Wireless, Meraki Wireless, Juniper MIST Wireless
• Good to have Skills: Cisco Catalyst Center, DNA-C, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba Central, SSID, 802.1x, 802.11, Fore scout NAC, Extreme Wireless, Fortinet Wireless, Ubiquiti, Arista Wireless
• Good to have knowledge on Skills: Cloud Networking, Automation, SDWAN, Firewalls, Radius
• Strong understanding of network protocols and wireless communication standards.
• Experience in designing and deployment of wireless network.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving wireless network issues.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Wireless Technologies Operations. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
