As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Generative AI.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex software issues within enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret system logs and performance metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle management and incident management processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to document issues and solutions clearly.
