Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing system performance, and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency. You will engage in troubleshooting activities, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and effectively, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and standards.
• Introduce automation and CI/CD Integrations.
• Collaborating with QA, Development, DevOps and Business teams.
• Prepare Detailed reports with graphs and recommendations.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) Response time, Throughput, Error rate, etc.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts.
• Expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner, etc).
• Knowledge of APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynatrace, etc).
• Strong analytical and communication skills to assess system performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to develop and implement performance testing plans.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation of testing processes.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.
• This position is based at our Mumbai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
